Join us Wednesday, February 4, from 11 am-12 pm for Exploring Sound and Music in Browser-based Code: Strudel and Tone.js!
This creative coding workshop introduces attendees to two JavaScript libraries for musical and sound synthesis in the browser: Strudel and Tone.js.
Strudel is a web-based live coding environment designed for music generation, while Tone.js is a Web Audio framework for creating interactive music experiences in the browser. Following an introductory talk, there will be practical demonstrations of each library, including sample code that participants can use as a foundation for their own creations.
Attendees of all technical experience levels are welcome! Registration is not required, although we would appreciate if you would submit this form to confirm your interest.
Location: Perry-Castañeda Library Scholars Lab, Data Lab (PCL 2.202) or Zoom
