Chapbooks – small booklets often made by hand – are essential to American Poetry. Chapbooks provide poets an inexpensive, accessible way to showcase their work. Chapbooks also allow for experimentation and artistry in the book arts. The UT Poetry Center has collected chapbooks for over 50 years, and this exhibit highlights the forms, experimentation, and genres found in these little books.
