Conversation and Poetry Reading with Jake Skeets

Join the UT Libraries and the Native American & Indigenous Studies Program for a conversation and poetry reading featuring award-winning Diné poet Jake Skeets, the Poet Laureate of the Navajo Nation. 

Professor Anthony Webster will moderate a discussion and Q&A, and Skeets will share poems from his books Eyes Bottle Dark with a Mouthful of Flowers (2019, Milkweed Editions) and Horses (2026, Milkweed Editions).

Refreshments will be provided.
