BQTC x Obsidian: Black Queer Artshare

The Black Queer Trans Collective (BQTC) is a collective of Black LGBTQIA+ faculty, staff, students, and allies of any identity at the University of Texas at Austin. In partnership with Obsidian, this artshare will create space for campus community building and allyship, aiming to platform the established discipline of Black Queer Studies and the creativity and voices of LGBTQIA+ peoples of Africa and of the African diaspora. In addition to the artshare, UT Libraries will showcase scholarship and creative works from the Black Queer Studies Collection. The event is open to any and all lived experiences, so bring a friend!
