Due to the threat of severe weather, all University of Texas Libraries facilities and services will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 30, and will remain closed Tuesday, January 31. The Perry-Castaneda Library building will remain open for 24/7 access during this period, but in person services will be unavailable until normal operations resume.

The Benson Latin American Collection is home to the archive of Mexican politician, writer, and philosopher José Vasconcelos (1881–1959).
