University of Texas Libraries

Due to the threat of severe weather, all University of Texas Libraries facilities and services will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 30, and will remain closed Tuesday, January 31. The Perry-Castaneda Library building will remain open for 24/7 access during this period, but in person services will be unavailable until normal operations resume.

Closed study rooms in PCL are available for assignment to University of Texas at Austin doctoral candidates who have reached candidacy status and to current University of Texas at Austin permanent faculty. For more information, please visit Perry-Castañeda Library (PCL) Closed Studies Policy.

Fine Arts Library carrels are enclosed desk areas for College of Fine Arts graduate students. For more information, please visit the Fine Arts Library Carrels page.

Closed Studies and Carrels located at the Benson are not available at this time.
