This Data & Donuts workshop will introduce attendees to fundamental concepts, methodologies, and practical techniques for working with qualitative data in Python, focusing on how open source software can be used to implement computational approaches for understanding and analyzing such data. A practical, hands-on exercise using Python will follow the introductory talk.

No prior knowledge of DH methods is required. Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices and corpus of texts they want to work on.
