Copier and Printing Services

New Copy Card System is being implemented the week of Dec. 14, 2009. Check here for more details.

Printing from computers, photocopiers, and microform readers requires a copy card.  Students with Bevo Bucks accounts may also use two printing stations on the second floor of the PCL and one printing station in the Fine Arts Library along with two photocopiers located in PCL Reference, Room 2.400.

How will printing from laptops work?

• a client for both PCs and Macs is available for download on the Computing Facilities page;
• this client is easy to download and doesn’t require wireless access (which means users from wired workstations elsewhere on campus and at home may use the client to send print jobs to the UT Libraries network print system);
• print jobs will remain in the print queue for 120 minutes;
• all B&W network print stations across the UT Libraries will receive each print job, making access for users as convenient as possible.

Photocopiers, readers, and printers will not accept coins or currency.

Fax Machine: 512-495-4296; this is the number for people who want to fax a question to Reference Information Services.

Library Copier Services offers full service copying and other specialty services. Library Copier Services is located on the first floor of the Perry-Castañeda Library, PCL 1.102, phone (512) 495-4239. Hours of operation are available online as well as posted at the entrance to the room.
