Federal Depository Libraries

The Federal Depository Library Program (44 USC 19) provides for the establishment and maintenance of depository libraries and the distribution of government documents to those libraries for use by the public. The general public has free access to all depository documents, in all formats, including Internet databases and publications. More details are available in our Federal Depository Library Materials Access Policy. Many government publications, in all formats, are listed in the Library Catalog.
