The UT OER Working Group is hosting a workshop to introduce participants to open educational resources (OER). Instructors can leverage the open licenses assigned to OER to offer their students free, immediate access to course materials as well as to copy and adapt those materials to meet the needs of their course.
Participants will gain hands-on experience exploring the resources available in commonly used OER discovery tools. Strategies for incorporating other forms of free and low-cost course materials will also be discussed briefly.
The virtual workshop is free and open to UT faculty, graduate students, and staff, but registration is required. Register here.
