Nursing

The nursing collection supports teaching and research through the doctoral level. Interest in these areas is centered in, but not limited to, the School of Nursing. Students and faculty in related fields (such as biological sciences, human development & family sciences, nutrition, pharmacy, psychology, social work) also have many needs in this area.

Access to journals is paramount and electronic format is preferred for journals and periodicals whenever possible.

Monographic materials may be either print (hardcopy) or electronic format. The collection focus is works in English, emphasizing recent research. The collection includes selectively purchased textbooks, popular works, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and films.

Other considerations for support include the Dell Pediatric Research Institute and the St. David’s Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research in Underserved Populations.
