Human Development and Family Sciences

The human development and family sciences collection supports teaching and research through the doctoral level. Interest in these areas is centered in, but not limited to, the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences. Students and faculty in related fields (such as biological sciences, economics, education, government, nursing, nutrition, pharmacy, psychology, social work) also have many needs in this area.

Access to journals is paramount and electronic format is preferred for journals and periodicals whenever possible.

Monographic materials may be either print (hardcopy) or electronic format. The collection focus is works in English, emphasizing recent research. The collection includes selectively purchased popular works, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and films.

Other considerations for support include the Population Research Center.
