Staff Recognition and Honors
Staff members in the University of Texas Libraries are eligible for recognition through programs at
The University of Texas at Austin and in the Libraries acknowledging outstanding achievement. Staff members
also receive recognition for contributions and distinguished service in other areas.
- Harold W. Billings Staff Honors Award
- Recognizes library staff members for outstanding work performance and distinctive contributions.
- Library Excellence Award
- Recognizes library staff members for extraordinary contributions to the University of Texas at Austin
by fulfilling job responsibilities at a level of true excellence.
- University Excellence Award
- Recognizes and honors the invaluable contributions of eligible non-teaching employees whose outstanding
dedication, competence, conscientious performance, excellent customer service or ingenuity has had a
significant impact on the continuing success of the University.
