On Thursday April 16, at 6:00pm, the University of Texas Libraries presents “When Barbara Jordan Talked, We Listened - A Panel Discussion," produced by the Texas Politics Project (TPP) in the College of Liberal Arts.

AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas Libraries has partnered with the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History to present an exhibit of materials related to the life and career of Barbara Jordan.

In honor of the Feb. 21 birthday of former U.S. Rep. Barbara Jordan, the University of Texas Libraries has announced an upcoming program of events to recognize her achievements.

The Libraries' Barbara Jordan celebration will begin on March 27 with the opening of an exhibit of materials related to Jordan's career co-hosted by the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History and conclude with the scheduled unveiling of the Texas political icon's statue on the campus on April 24.
