Scope and Content Note

Web collection of web sites relating to renewable energy, which were crawled by the University of Texas at San Antonio using the Internet Archive’s Archive-It web crawler beginning in 2010. The collection includes web sites created by individuals, organizations, and businesses involved in or interested in the development and use of renewable energy in Texas. Also included are links to previous web crawls preformed by the Internet Archive between 1996-2008 for selected web sites. Full text search of web collection is available at the Archive-It web site.

The Alliance to Save Energy originated in the 1970s, spurred by the the oil embargo. Since then, it has sought to work with businesses, lawmakers, and individuals to improve energy efficiency and energy conservation.
