The 1968 festival was cosponsored by the Institute of Texan Cultures (ITC) and highlighted Texas culture, including arts, crafts, agriculture, music and foods. The delegation of more than 150 Texans, including 50 people from the San Antonio area, was headed by R. Henderson Shuffler, ITC Director, O.T. Baker, ITC Projects Manager, organized and ran the show. The San Antonio Conservation Society organized and handled the bulk of the food preparation and service. </p><p><emph render="sub">Source: 1968 Festival Featuring Texas </emph></p>
