The State Board Meeting files provide information about PARTT planning and operations. Officers, 1919-2007

The Officers series is the largest in the collection, and the State Director's files are the most voluminous group of materials. The State Directors, elected for two year terms, kept files of correspondence and other materials that document their activities for their elected period. Of note are documents noting the creation and early organization of the Pan American Round Tables of Texas. The Historian's files parallel the State Director's term and consist of scrapbooks that document the events of the years. Items in the scrapbooks include correspondence, news clippings, event programs, minutes, photographs, and reports. The Treasurer's files include information about budgets, checking accounts, spending, and scholarship fund donations. The Scholarship Committee materials include information about their budget, planning, and applicants and recipients of the Florence Terry Griswold Memorial Scholarship. Other officers represented in this series include the Parliamentarian, the Publications Officer, and the Corresponding Secretary.

This series consists of materials, mostly correspondence, that document PARTT's participation in the international Pan American group. The Alliance of Pan American Round Tables was formed in 1944 to foster friendship and communication between the many chapters of the Pan American Round Tables in the United States and in Latin American countries. State Conventions, 1919-2005

This series documents the conventions wherein state officers meet with delegates from local Tables across Texas. All conferences were located in Texas. In the early years of PARTT, the state conventions were held annually, but by the late 1940s, the conventions became a biannual event. The State Convention files include agendas, minutes, planning materials, programs, resolutions, committee reports, correspondence, and table reports. Correspondence and working papers of the state directors document the growth of PARTT, particularly in the 1950s.
Arranged chronologically. Folder titles indicate the location of the conferences.
