Scope and Content Note

The collection includes a green photograph album (circa 1890s), holding a large number of older pictures (some of which are identified). This photo album was presented to Lillie Terrell Shaver, a former principal of a public school in Greenville, Texas. There are also two loose photographs, one dated 1956 and the other undated. The collection also contains a 1932 San Antonio Junior College yearbook. The yearbook belonged to Ben Shaver and is initialed or autographed by some of his friends with a few notes addressed to him. A final piece in the collection is a dance invitation, at the New York University gymnasium, dated 1903.
