Biographical Sketch

Dan Eggleston attended Texas A and I University in Kingsville, Texas graduating with a B.A. in Math in 1968. He earned a B. A. in History in 1969 and a M. A. in History in 1973. He taught one year in San Antonio, Texas at Brackenridge H.S. and seven years at Jeff Davis Middle School. In 1976 he moved to Austin, Texas. After working two years at various clerical positions at the University of Texas at Austin, he taught two years at Dobie Middle School and in 1980 transfered to Lamar Middle School where he currently teaches computer and math. In 2000 he started Austin Film Casting, adding three other Texas casting lists which, as of late 2001, served 3,400 members.

This is a preliminary inventory only, and additions are ongoing. The collection is currently unprocessed, but is available to researchers in the Benson Collection Rare Books and Manuscripts Reading Room.
