Robert C. West Photographs
Some 6000 photographs taken in Mexico, Central America, and South America taken over the cours of Prof. West's career in Geography and Anthropology. The Mexican photographs, comprising two-thirds of the collection, emphasize rural house types and associated structures, as well as farming practices.
Photographs are individually described on verso, but no inventory has been completed. Contact the Benson Collection Rare Books and Manuscripts department for more information.
