Jill Vexler Papers
Jill Vexler received her B.A. in Anthropology and Art History from the University of Texas at Austin, and her Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California Los Angeles. She is a museum curator and consultant for museum exhibitions, community programs, and cultural installations. She is the editor and translator of the English edition of Mexican Textile: Line and Color (El textil mexicano: línea y color), the catalog of an exhibition held at the Museo Rufino Tamayo, 1986, among other catalogs and articles. The collection has not been processed and cataloged, but is open for research in the Benson Collection rare books and manuscripts reading room.
