Charles E. Revilla Papers Relating to Emilio Saldarriaga García, 1950-1996
Biographical SketchPeruvian poet Emilio Saldarriaga García was born in Talara, Peru, on October 6, 1928, to Santos Saldarriaga Ordinola and Eudoxia García Miñón de Saldarriaga. He was the author of numerous volumes of poetry, including Tu Amistad Es Mi Consuelo (1949), Versos Sencillos (1952), Dimension del Amor (1958), and Renacer (1967), among others, and the novela Los Amantes (1950). He was also the publisher of the literary journal Liberación (1956-1958). Saldarriaga García died on April 5, 1990.
