Biographical Note
Eugenio Esquivel (E.E.) Hernández, originally from Coahuila, Mexico, married Petra Paredes in 1922. The couple settled and raised their children, María de la Luz and Jesús Eugenio, in Laredo, Texas. E.E. Hernández worked as an animal trapper and was a veteran of World War I. E.E. Hernández and Petra Paredes Hernández's son Jesús and son-in-law José Felipe Hernández were both veterans of World War II.
