The U.S. Latino & Latina WWII Oral History Project was begun in 1999 by Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez, a professor with the School of Journalism and the Center for Mexican American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin.

Scope and Contents Note

Oral history interviews, including audio and video tapes, transcripts, an index to the interview, narrative stories produced from the interviews, photographs, correspondence, and other documents from the U.S. Latino & Latina WWII Oral History Project. The files are arranged alphabetically by last name of the interviewee.

These files are only part of the total in production. The U.S. Latino & Latina WWII Oral History Project continues to transfer materials from its more than 400 interviews.
