<scopecontent encodinganalog="520"><head>Scope and Contents Note</head><p>65 photographs and one newspaper clipping describe the battles--particularly the aftermath of the battles--between Federals and Rebels in Reynosa and Matamoros in the state of Tamaulipas on the Mexico-U.S. border during the Mexican Revolution in 1913. The photographs are numbered and arranged chronologically, first of the Battle of Reynosa on 9 May 1913, then the Battle of Matamoros on 3-4 June 1913. Individuals included in the photographs include General Lucio Blanco and his chief of staff Francisco Mujica. Glenn's description of each photo is transcribed in this inventory, with a visual description of the contents added.</p></scopecontent>
