The Freedom from Religion Foundation is an American non-profit organization based in Madison, Wisconsin with members from all 50 states. The organization promotes the separation of church and state and educates the public on matters relating to atheism, agnosticism, and nontheism. On September 29, 1981, the University of Texas at Austin hosted a Freedom from Religion Foundation rally.
