Biographical Note

Robert Roy Coons graduated with a M.A. degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1920. His thesis was titled "The Life and Educational Services of Governor Oran Milo Roberts". During Roberts' time as Governor of Texas (1878-1883), the University of Texas was founded. Roberts later served as Professor of Law at the University.
