A Guide to the UT Division of Extension, 1914-1964
The UT Division of Extension (UEX) is part of the UT Division of Continuing Education. UEX provides educational opportunities to the Austin community by offering flexible course options and formats to those seeking college credit from UT Austin. The courses offered by UEX are comparable to the courses taught on campus to UT Austin students and can be taken for a variety of reasons, including: professional development, to help with career transitions, to make progress toward a degree, or for self-enrichment.

This collection includes personnel files, annual reports, history, publications, and news clippings regarding the Extension Loan Library, also known as the Package Loan Library. The Package Loan Library acted as the Interlibrary Loan office for off-campus patrons.
