Biographical/Historical Note

Gary Gattis co-founded Human Code in 1993 and served as a Software Director and Lead Programmer on games such as Wishbone and the Amazing Odyssey and Team Xtreme: Operation Weather Disaster. He later joined Digital Anvil, working on the unreleased game Silverheart, before joining Sony Online in 2003 to serve as Senior Producer for Star Wars Galaxies. Gattis co-founded Spacetime Studios in 2005 and currently produces Massive Multiplayer Online games for the company.

Scope and Contents

Collection includes game design documents, scripts, storyboards, correspondence and clippings related to Gattis' employment at several Austin area game studios, with the bulk of material from his tenure at Human Code Interactive. Collection also includes oversized concept art for the unreleased game Silverheart along with oversized design documents from the design process of Schoolhouse Rock: America Rock and the Star Wars Galaxies space and combat expansions.
