Biographical/Historical Note

Carroll Hall grew up in Fischer’s Store, Texas (Comal County) and was the son of Mary Ardana George Hall.

This small collection is comprised of letters written by Private Carroll Hall to his mother and sister. Hall was stationed at Camp Bowie, Texas, before being sent to France. Includes five original letters and seven photocopies.
