Historical Note

The Vice-Chancellor for Development and External Relations with the University of Texas System leads the offices of development and gift planning services, public affairs, community and business relations, and philanthropy. "The Office of External Relations assists the 15 UT institutions with fundraising programs and provides support for estate and trust administration, endowment review and management, and gift analysis and acceptance. The office coordinates all interactions with the media and the external community on behalf of the UT System and coordinates official functions and programs for the Chancellor and the UT System."
