John Albert Peterson (known as Albert Peterson) was born in Öggestorp, Småland,
Sweden in 1878 and immigrated to Williamson County, Texas in Williamson County in
1885. He was accompanied by his parents, Jonas and Katarina (known as Karin)
Peterson, and five siblings. The family settled in the Swedish community of Hutto,
Texas. Albert married Lillie Peterson of Round Rock, Texas in 1904. They had six
children, including son Leroy, born in 1908. Lillie’s sister, Mina Johanna Peterson
(known as Nina Peterson) married Claus Peterson in 1902. Many Peterson men,
including Albert and Claus, were farmers and landowners in the Hutto area. The
family was also very active in the Swedish Lutheran Church of Hutto.

John Ljungren (alternatively Ljunggren) and his wife Christina (also known as
Kristina Wickstrom) had two daughters, Augusta and Anna. Augusta married Carl
Peterson, brother of Claus Peterson, in 1902; Anna (known as Annie Johnson) married
Emil Johnson in 1907.
