Biographical NoteWilliam C. Stewart, Jr. (1918-1989) a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, received his BA in journalism in 1940, and later his MS from the University of New York at Albany, where he worked as college administrator for three years. In 1941, he joined the Army air Force and retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1969. He was a great lover of photography, which was inspired by his father’s occupation as a newspaper owner.
