A Guide to the Greater San Antonio Quilt Guild Collection
Founded on May 3, 1980, the Greater San Antonio Quilt Guild is a non-profit organization with the following purposes:
To stimulate an interest in quilts and to advance the art of quiltmaking; to assist schools and museums in their display of quilts and quilting; to hold educational programs, workshops and seminars in the design and techniques of quiltmaking; to provide any person interested in quilts with a forum to share and participate in quilting
Collection consists of 700-plus quilt patterns or patterns for quilted garments assembled by the Greater San Antonio Quilt Guild from 1980 to about 2007. Patterns were used by Guild members and others were donated by the same Guild members. Indexes describe each pattern and provide a small picture of it.
