A Guide to the John Pearce Manuscript, undated
Frank Webster Pearce served during World War II in the Texas 36th Division as well as in the 111th Engineer Combat Battalion in the North African, Italian, and German theaters. His son, John Allen Pearce, wrote “Footprints of a Private With the Texas Army,” based on his father’s diary and correspondence.
A CD containing a copy of “Footprints of a Private With the Texas Army” and a paper synopsis of the book comprise the John Pearce Manuscript.
