A Guide to the Hiram D. Robie Letter, 1847
Soldier Hiram D. Robie, b. ca. 1827, was a member of the 4th Regiment Ohio Volunteers, and served in the Mexican War (1846-1848). He entered the service on May 20, 1847, at age 20, and mustered out on July 18, 1848.
