			<head>Biographical Note</head>
			<p>Congressman James Clifton Wilson (1874-1951) was born in Palo Pinto, Texas, and
				graduated from the University of Texas with a law degree in 1896. After practicing
				law as the assistant prosecuting attorney (1898-1900) and prosecuting attorney of
				Parker County (1902-1908), Wilson was appointed as the assistant district attorney
				of Tarrant County (1912-1913) and served as chairman of the Democratic County
				Executive Committee. Subsequently, he was the United States attorney for the
				northern district of Texas from 1913 to 1917. Wilson served in the U.S. House of
				Representatives from March 1917 until his appointment by President Woodrow Wilson as
				a judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas in
				1919.</p>
