Biographical NoteCharles Henry Moore (b. 1859) was the son of William James Moore, who had emigrated from Copiah County, Mississippi, to Nacogdoches, Texas in 1844. Moore was raised in Anderson County. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsTwo copies of "The Three Forks of the Trinity and Anderson County during Reconstruction" compose the Charles H. Moore Reminiscences, 1932-1933, chronicling the immigration of Moore’s family to Nacogdoches, Texas, and the history of Anderson County. The reminiscences concern the Moore family’s settlement in Palestine, conflicts with Native Americans, and life in Reconstruction era Anderson County.
