A Guide to the Mrs. William Maverick Scrapbooks, 1917-1936
William C. Maverick (1875-1932), the son of William H. Maverick, was born in San Antonio, Texas. After marrying his wife in 1917, they travelled throughout the world. He later resided in Philadelphia until his death in 1932.

Two scrapbooks comprise the Mrs. William Maverick Scrapbooks, 1917-1936, documenting the travels of William C. Maverick and his wife throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas after their marriage in 1917. Materials within the scrapbook include letters, tickets, pamphlets, and ephemera related to their travels.
