Historical Note
First published in 1833, the Louisville Daily Journal was a newspaper that served the city of Louisville and Jefferson County, Kentucky. In 1851, it merged with the Louisville Daily Courier to form the Louisville Courier-Journal. The paper ceased publication in 1868.
