Biographical Note
Born in DeKalb, Tennessee, Elbert Walter (E. W.) LeFevre (1895-1984) married Mattie Hazie Davis (1898-1982) of Palo Pinto, Texas, in 1922. The couple bore two children, whom they raised in Eden, Texas. The LeFevres were members of the Eden Methodist Church, for which E. W. served as treasurer.
