				Vicksburg Campaign in 1863.</p>

			<p>Four letters comprise the Hugh N. Jones Papers, 1861-1866, documenting his service in
				the Confederate army. Written to his niece Martha, Jones’ letters describe his
				health and the conditions at Vicksburg during the military campaign in the spring of
				1863.</p>
