Biographical Note
W. W. Hurley was a Confederate soldier in the 1st Regiment, Texas Mounted Reserve Infantry during the Civil War.
Scope and Contents
A volume of Photostats comprises the W. W. Hurley Letters, 1863-1865, documenting Hurley’s service in the Texas Mounted Reserve Infantry. Written to Mary A. Hurley of Robertson County, Texas, Hurley describes his health and camp life in Livingston and Liberty, Texas.
