			<p>Comprising a report and visual material, the El Paso (Tex.) Irrigation Study Records,
				1994, document the history of the irrigation and drainage canals in the El Paso,
				Texas, area. Produced by the U. S. Bureau of Reclamation, the report entitled
				Historical and Modern Irrigation Systems in El Paso, Texas describes the history of
				the canals from early Spanish settlement of the area through the improvements and
				expansion of the irrigation systems in the early 20th century. The visual material
				contains slides, photographs, negatives, and photograph logs used in the study,
				which portray the physical features of the canals in 1994 and the early 20th
				century.</p>
