Scope and Contents

The Ernestine Edmunds Scrapbook, 1935-1952, consists of postcards, notes, magazine and newspaper clippings, and photographs, documenting Edmund’s career as a teacher in San Antonio, Texas, and family history. Postcards depict historic sites in San Antonio, while magazine and newspaper clippings concern the Texas Revolution, educational issues as well as Edmund’s recognition as a prominent teacher at Alamo Heights Elementary School.
