Biographical Note

A. H. Dunlap was a Commissioner for the Pecos River Compact Commission and a member of the Texas Board of Water engineers. The Pecos River Compact Commission administers the Pecos River Compact, an agreement between New Mexico and Texas, to ensure Texas receives water from the Pecos River.

Scope and Contents

Meeting minutes and printed addresses comprise the A. H. Dunlap Papers, 1935, 1942-1943, documenting Dunlap’s career as Commissioner of the Pecos River Compact Commission. Addresses discuss ground water resources in Texas (1935) and irrigation experiments in guayule production in West Texas (1942).
