A Guide to the Chireno Alliance Ledger, 1887
Comprising a single volume, the Chireno (or Chirino) Alliance Ledger, 1887, documents the transactions of a 19th century general store, possibly run by the Farmers' Alliance of Chireno, Texas. The ledger lists the debts of individuals, families, and businesses that purchased farming equipment, food, clothing, and other items at the store.
