			<p>Anastassios <emph render="doublequote">Tassos</emph> Rigopoulos earned an M.F.A.
				degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997. His thesis, a documentary
				entitled <title render="italic">Texas &amp; the Death Penalty</title>, chronicled
				the history of the death penalty in Texas, winning a Certificate of Merit from the
				41st Annual Gavel Awards Competition of the American Bar Association in 1998.</p>
