Receipts, payment records, checks, promissory notes, and lines record business activity. Prominent in the collection are weekly time books and banking deposit slips from the 1950s. Additionally, numerous land deeds and official records document Peter family land transactions around La Grange. Correspondence between family members discusses almost exclusively business matters, particularly insurance.
