A Guide to the Central America Collection, 1985-1991
Scope and ContentsComprised of newspapers and newsletters published in Texas, the Central America Collection, 1985-1991, documents research and shifting public opinion on Central American social, political, and economic issues. Newspapers consist of several editions of the Houston Catholic Worker, while newsletters include the S.T.A.R. of Guatemala, the Texas Alliance for Human Needs, La Carta: Newsletter of the Inter-Religious Task Force on Central America, the Texas Ecumenical Action, the Central America Peace Initiative, and Austin Peace and Justice.
